Alana Claxton
Chief Clinical Officer, Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Alana has nine years of experience in the Applied Behavior Analysis field, with over four spent as a BCBA. She obtained her Master’s in ABA from Ball State with an emphasis in autism. In addition to providing behavior analytic services, her specialties include Organizational Behavior Management, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and trauma-informed care. She is passionate about individualized case conceptualization and providing services that are client-centered and focused on developing intrinsic motivation to learn and grow.
As a neurodivergent professional, Alana is passionate about mentoring MBC staff to enhance the quality of the office’s services and ensure that the neurodivergent perspective is thoughtfully integrated into all of the office's clinical work. She believes MBC is more than just a place for learning—it’s a community where clients feel a deep sense of belonging, often reluctant to leave at the end of their sessions because of the acceptance they experience.
An avid cat rescuer, Alana spends her free time playing video games with friends, creating art, reading, and learning new skills. Her self-care routine includes cuddling with her cats, exercising (especially yoga and strength training), and spending quality time with family.

“I am passionate about ensuring that the neurodivergent perspective is thoughtfully integrated into all of the clinical work that we do.”
