Our Story.
We were all once children. And like many, Marissa Bennett grew up struggling with learning and requiring special education. Her personal experiences inspired her to earn a masters in Special Education, work one-on-one teaching children with challenges, and eventually become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Marissa discovered the need in her field was so great, she established Marissa Bennett Consulting–and in only five years, we have watched countless children–and our practice–grow and succeed.
Today, MBC has Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), Speech Pathologists, ABA Therapists, specialists in their fields, and amazing administrative staff all working together to support clients and families in their growth and development.
Our Purpose.
MBC was established with a clear intent: to help each child and individual that we work with not only succeed in the classroom, but excel in life.
We provide evidence-based, integrative care to children, parents, adults, and families, built on the foundations of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). A positive approach to modifying challenging behaviors, ABA is rooted in evidence-based research and helps clients understand where certain behaviors come from and how they can be changed, from engaging in social activities, to listening and following instructions, to reading and communicating.
There is no one-size-fits-all approach to learning, and the same applies to our treatments: our staff personalizes plans that focus on academics, language, play, social, and daily living skills in every step of the process.

Has enseñado a mi hijo y me has educado a mí".
